Mission Statement
The mission of the Project Nehemiah Bus Ministry is to build the walls of the city of Chicago, one community at a time, by helping children, youth and families with shattered dreams dream again.
Purpose
Project Nehemiah’s purpose is four fold: (1) to outreach/share the gospel of Jesus Christ to children, youth and families residing in Chicago’s inner city communities; (2) to provide transportation to and from weekly church services and youth programming; (3) disciple and mentor children, youth and adults involved in the bus ministry to go deeper in their walk with Christ; and (4) provide prayer, crisis management and basic life necessities to families in need.
Scripture Verse
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
